Scott and Julie Grundahl have been married for 30 years and are both retired United States Air Force pilots and commanders with fixed-wing and rotary-wing expertise and multiple combat tours of duty as search and rescue helicopter pilots. From 2020-2025, they ran their own successful Part 61 flight school out of Mt Pleasant, SC, flying over 5,000 hrs each year in single-engine trainers with hundreds of flight students of all ages and backgrounds.
